Linberg G. Hamilton

HAMILTON, Linberg G. "Mack," 81, of Glen Allen, passed away October 18, 2008. He is survived by his daughter, Lynda Hamilton Locke and her husband, Michael; son, Robert K. Hamilton and his wife, Cathy; three grandchildren, William T. Cogbill and his wife, Jessica, Raymond T. Cogbill and his wife, Lisa, and Jessica H. Berry and her husband, Robert; six great-grandchildren, Adam, Brent and Amber Cogbill, Zachary Huffman, Elizabeth Berry and Kyelee and Caden Wright. Mr. Hamilton was a loving father and grandfather. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the Merchant Marines, a longstanding member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1714, Past Master Mason, Lodge No. 131 AF&AM, and he retired from William Byrd Press. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad Street, also where a funeral service will be conducted Thursday, October 23, at 2 p.m. Entombment to follow in Westhampton Memorial Park.
