Margaret-Anne Epps
August 1, 2009
JJ and Jermaine, this is Margaret-Anne Epps, your mom's 'little cousin.' Your Grandma Madeline and my father, Charles, were brother and sister. I know how to drive to where I last saw Patricia but don't know the street names. I live in Florida now. Please call me IMMEDIATELY. My cell number is 561-876-3732 and my work number (toll free) is 1-800-367-6200. Jermaine only met me once when he might have been old enough to remember, but JJ should recall me if he sees my photo. Please forgive me for writing all this here so publicly but I feel this is my only chance to reach you. My own mother is now 82 and lives in Richmond; she and I have been trying to figure out how to reach you. I really need to speak to either of you, especially JJ.

To my godsons, JJ & Jermaine. I just recently found out about the passing of your mother and my dearest friend, Patricia Ann. My heart is breaking because we just found each other again and I was looking forward to us having many more glorious days together (growing older). But God saw that your mother needed rest from all of the stress, pains, rough and good times. She is in a better place. You know your mom and I went through alot to get back on the right track and we had some good times together. She is up there with my mom, who passed away two years ago. We really have some guardian angels looking out for us. I knew your mother for over 35 years and that seems like a lifetime. If there is anything you need, just contact me, I am only a phone call away. Just know that God only takes the best for the moment, she has finally gotten her wish, a mansion with many rooms and she resting with the father. Loving to all of you,
Betty Joelle Hawkins "BJ"

My prayers go out to the family as well as Jermaine,Jerard and Mr.Joe. I met Ms.Pat a couple of years ago back in 04 when my mom moved on 24th st. She was a wonderful lady we would often have conversations and she often gave me advice. Ms. Pat is in a better place no more pain no more suffering. She often said that she wanted a house I guess she got her house she's with Lord and he offers many mansions may God bless this family and I will continue to pray and know that he will never forsake you or leave you lonely even in the midnight hour.
