SPARROW, Freddie J., of Richmond, departed this life October 23, 2008. He is survived by three daughters, Keosha, Tarsha and Keona; three sons, Detwon, Damien and Cedric; 14 grand- children; his father and mother, Fred and Della Mae Sparrow; his maternal grandmother, Linear Jackson; one sister, Francine Sparrow; four brothers, Willie, James, Richard and Cornelius Sparrow; four aunts, Terry Gilmore, Linda Jeffress, Debbie Dean and Juanita Womack; six uncles, Eddie and Ernest Jeffress, William Jackson, Charles, Marshall and George Sparrow; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, other relatives and friends, among them a devoted, Veronica Cunningham and goddaughter, Khaliah Cunningham. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. Minister Shirley Mitchell officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45 p.m. Monday. Online condolences can be made at www.jenkinsjr.com.
