I had the privilege and honor to work with Charlene while at BellSouth. She was an inspiration to us all. She will be missed by all of us from the Greensboro/Winston-Salem office. My deepest sympathy to her friends and family.

I am so saddened by Ms. Powell's passing, but I know that she valiantly fought a difficult foe this last year. I want you to know that I will continue to fight cancer for her and for many others who have their lives sadly shorted...I have been touched by her strength of character, her faith and her will to fight.

I am very sorry about your loss. I lived in the same area as Charlene growing up. Charlene always had a sweet dispostion and she met you with a smile. After she moved to Raliegh, I saw her a few times when she was visiting Richmond. She had that same smile.
