Just arrived back from CA and read my emails. KK & Tom, I'm so sorry to hear of Dot Sue's passing. She & I loved our books and shared all the time! She was a special lady & I'm sorry I couldn't be there today to honor her. One day there will be a cure for Altzheimers. I know it was hard for all of the family to see such a smart woman have to endure this horrible disease of the mind.
Again, to all the family, if I had been in town, I would have been there for Dot Sue. May she rest in peace and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love, Pat

I was sad to hear the news of Dot's passing. I had become very found of her as she and my dad were table mates at Southernland. She was a very sweet and funny lady. I will always smile when I think of "Mrs. Dot"
