Frank Porter Obituary

PORTER, Frank Seward, 79, of Richmond, formerly of Gloversville, N.Y., passed away October 30, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, William N. and Mary Porter. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Alexander Porter; his children, Connie Palmer of North Augusta, S.C., Bill Harry of Southwick, Mass., Docia Fuller of Wheaton, Illinois, and Frankie Burnette of Richmond, Va.; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Mr. Porter was a member of Tuckahoe Moose Lodge No. 1163 and Legion No. 148 for 30 years. He also retired from the Air Force in 1970. Funeral services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements by the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home.

I am so sorry Frank is gone. I worked with him for a number of years and always enjoyed his humor, his wisdom, and his many hunting tales. He will be missed.
