SIMMONS, Robert Raymond, 73, of Chesterfield, died suddenly Thursday, October 30, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert S. and Margaret Y. Simmons and was a member of Courthouse Church of Christ. Surviving are his wife, Karen M. Simmons, of Chesterfield; sons, Bryan S. Simmons (Jennifer) of San Francisco, Calif., Troy A. Simmons of Chesterfield, Robert R. Simmons of Akron, Ohio and Mark S. Simmons of Phoenix, Ariz. Also surviving are granddaughters, Maddie, Brooke and Rachael Simmons; grandsons, Bobby J. and Levi Simmons; sisters, Donna M. Bisesi (Jack), Sandra L. Salkeld (Richard) and Judy L. Kouri (Michael); and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 14301 Ashbrook Pkwy., Sunday, November 2, from 3 to 5 and Monday 5 to 8 p.m., and where his funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday with interment in Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 2601 Willard Rd., Suite 103, Richmond, Va. 23294.

Karen, Byran and Troy,
We are so sorry to hear about Bob. We will miss him terribly. You are in our thoughts and prayers everyday. He's in a much better place now and you have your own special guardian angel watching over you. (Look out Troy. He's diffiantly looking over you. :) Bob was a very special person. Just keep those happy memories of him close to your heart and may all those memories get you pass the tough days. Karen, if you need to talk, you know I'm here for you. Love you all.
