I am soo sorry for the lost. I remember growing up on Jeter Ave. and doing something I wasn't suppose to be doing, and Fruitti was on his way to the car and he would say "Shellie get your tale back in the house"! I will never forget him or the Sayles family. I'm sorry Bridgette, Ne Ne, Danyelle, Mi Mi, and Jonathan. I will always be your friend. Love you guys, God Bless.

Its been really hard knowing that you are not going to call me this week or ever to check in. It's been hard to know that I will never see you again. It feels like something ripped away from me. I know you said that things happen for reason like I told you it wasn't suppose to happen to you at least not now. I know life expectancy is not forever and God said it was time for you get your wings so you could come home. I know apart of you is still with me when I look at my hands, my facial structure I know your soul still lives on within me and my children. It makes me smile to know that someone so great still lives within. I know this is not the last time I will see you again. Frutti I love you and I will truly miss you.
Love Always

PAPA

You left in such a hurry
We (Ayanna, Kiara and Eric) didn't even get to say goodbye.
We've tried so hard to understand the reasons WHY??
There are so many unanswered questions, than the tear starts following from our eyes.

If only you knew how we love you,
We wish we could wake up from the nightmare we are living
I hope from the pain you suffered, you are finally free.

And although we miss you, and wish so badly, you were here
Even though you're far away, I know you're really never that far apart.
Laughs and remembrance are what helps dry our tears.
We will keep relieving the memories so dear in our hearts.

Please watch over us, until we meet again.
Let your soul live on within us,
Rest in peace, PAPA.

We will love you always and forever..

Love

Fruitti

I sit here and think back
To these past Thirty-four years
Memories flood through my mind
And in my eyes, appear the tears.
Through these years I've experienced
The love, the joy and pain
Learning each and every day
While precious memories remained.
I can't believe how fast it came
How quickly thirty-four years went by
That part of life seemed to have passed.
With just one blink of my eyes
They say we're to enter a new road
And face new challenges ahead
Towards an unknown future
In the life we've already lead.
But the sound of that scares me
Because it involves change
It frightens me to go on further
On this road that seems so strange

Yet I know I can't avoid it
Because that's what life is about
Discovering what the future holds
While walking on the different routes
The memories of these past thirty four years
Nothing will ever replace
I capture one last picture of
your face

I will never forget my Father
The ones I now call my friend
How do I say goodbye
When it all comes to an end?

You taught me
How to love and how to care
I cannot imagine going on
With out you not being there

High school prepared me for everything
Except for how to say goodbye
That moment has now arrived
And all I want to do is cry

But I will hold back my tears
And face this moment in time
I know wherever life may lead us
We will all turn out fine

Someday we will meet again
And be like how we used to
But till that day comes, just know
I will never forget Father ....

Love you always and Forever...

I am so very sorry to learn of the passing of Mr. Sayles. I've known Mr. Sayles since 1990. He was a member of the credit union in which I am employed. I remember him as a very nice man who always had a warm smile and kind words for everyone. He always had time to say hello and to share a few words with the staff as he never allowed life to get too busy for that. Several of our employees at our 360 Branch and Federal Building Branch knew Mr. Sayles very well and will deeply miss him. Our prayers will be with the entire family during this time. We share in your loss.

To My Children,

Jeunesse, Danyelle, Demetria, Jonathan.......I want you to know your father adored his children. His children were the best part of his life. He was so proud of his family. Your father spoke about you all often. My children remember the good times, the family gatherings, graduations, holidays, the weekends we hung out. Pray and keep him in your thoughts. I love you all.

Romans 8:35-39

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

As brothers and sisters in Christ, we embrace the family of Carlyle Sayles Jr. as they mourn his death today. But we also hear what the Gospel has to say to us. At times such as these, when we can be overwhelmed by our emotions, it is important to hear the words of faith; those words which have sustained us through the good and the hard times of life. We turn to Paul’s words of comfort, which assure us that there is nothing - not hardship, nor poverty, nor danger, nor Alzheimer’s, nor cancer, nor diabetes (etc.) nor the unknown, nor death itself - nothing in all creation that will ever be able to sever our relationship with God in Christ. Absolutely nothing can separate us from God’s love.
