Alycia, Jay and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to you during this time. We will never forget Mrs. Oliver for all the kind words of encouragement she extended to us on many occasions. She invited me to go to water areobics so many times and I never went. However she will be gald to know that I finally started and I'm doing great.
Please let me know if I can do anything for you at any time.

Over 25 years ago God placed a small, powerful Christian lady in our lives and we have cherished each moment of that time every day. She looked inside of us and took the time to nurture every aspect of our spiritual being. As we expanded in our Christian life we could always be greeted with an "I knew you could do it" or an "I'm so proud of you." Mrs. Oliver has left a great legacy behind - a part of her resides in all of those who she touched. To Mariana and the Oliver family we express great love and sympathy to you at this time. We know these last days has not been easy but the wounderful memories and the power of God will help you heal as you move through this period in your life. Thank you for sharing your mother with us. Now we give back to you in love understanding and prayer. May the peace of God walk with you now and forever more.

Marianna and Stephanie, I extend heartfelt sympathy from my brothers and myself. Your mother was one of my mother's (Iona W. Adkins) favorites. My brothers and I often speak of our growing up with the fine people of the Star of the East Baptist Association. Mrs. Oliver is one of the first names that we bring up. May you find comfort in knowing that her memory will always be in the minds of so many.

To Mariana and Stephanie,
Time will heal the wounds of you losing a dear Mother and Grandma. Mrs. Oliver touched my life early as a little girl, who looked forward to the various Vacation Bible Schools, solos in the am services of different churches, along with the many duets with you Mariana. She was an inspiration to me in more ways than can be mentioned. I felt like a daughter to her, she never neglected to tell me "I love you", whenever we met or talked by phone.
She will be greatly missed. In fact she's already missed. May you as the days come find comfort in knowing that God does care and will sustain you through these days of sorrow. Hold onto the memories, for I know you have many, but most of all, hold on to God's hand.
Kind Regards with Prayer,
Willie and Gloria (Winters) Fair

Mrs. Oliver taught me the value of a hymn and the importance of Christian values. While I will sincerely miss her candidness, I have life long lessons that she taught me thru Sunday school and fishing trips stored in my heart. I thank God that His divine plan had Mrs. Oliver's life intersect my life. There is a hymn whose words include "There's a garden where Jesus is waiting....In the beautiful garden of prayer"...I believe God has just added a rose to His beautiful garden.
Family, find comfort in knowing that God is faithful and just in rewarding those who diligently seek Him...Mrs. Oliver has found her reward...Thanks be unto God!
