I saw Ryan's dad on Saturday, July 31st and was so happy to do so! Our paths had not crossed in about 11 years and when I inquired about the family, I was blowed away with the sad news that Ryan was gone! I was the family babysitter starting when I was 15, first Erica and then Ryan. Erica, Gail and Mack always know that I loved your children and that Ryan is in good hands and watching down on you all everyday!

lol...It seems like Ryan called everyone soft.. just soft.. Since you've been gone man I haven’t trash talked as much, and that was inevitable when I was around you. We always had opposing views. Nobody to humble.. but my game in madden has picked up and I was always better than you in basketball because for some reason you thought you were a better pg and shooter, you forgot that I’m Dwayne Wade and you compared yourself to Carmelo and we actually voted on it - lol..but man it seems like that was such a long time ago..You find yourself reminiscing on the tiny details of things--memories, of so much value now. Your presence is missed man- your life was cut way to short...forever missed- r.i.p

I met Ryan through my brother Michael. They were both so much alike. They used to bet on basketball games and flag football games against each other..the loser would have to wash the other ones car, or fork over a nice pair of sneakers. They kept each other on their toes, always entertained and having fun. It's bc of Michael that I knew Ryan, but it's bc of Ryan that I have comfort knowing, they are still having fun together in Heaven. I love you both.

I will always remember how Ryan and I supported each other in Monacan sports. I supported him on the football field and supported me on the tennis court. I will never forget how ryan used to joke about me being the sofetest guy in the world, but he always told me to keep breaking records in tennis. My prayers are with you ryan and your family. dear freeman, there so much to say that word cant explain. Still feels like ur going to pop around each coner with a smile on ur face telling me im the softest guy in america. My heart goes out to all that loved u like i did. I writing to tell u that as long as im alive my dutie is to perfect everthing u saw in me, and that no one will ever replace u. I can still remember our conversation about how u never got credit in the mills godwin game so we sat down to watch it together. Even though in knew u had more tackles then me i would never tell u because it always motatived u to push harder. Seem like we've been in competition since grade school and i think thats the reason we became so close cause i know u would never quit on me. My brother, my friend, the king u will be in my heart forever and missed greatly

Ryan, i don't no how to start! We had so much fun together! So many jokes, laughs, and "fights"! I think about the days when we use to work together at McDonalds we was so young we use to compete how fast we could make a burger and we would have ice fights and just laugh the time we clocked in to the time we clocked out! Then, I go back to our middle school days! We had a really good time! Ryan every since i heard the news i have been thinking about all of our good times! But i no that you are in a better place! U will always have a place in my heart! And to your family: Please don't be sad! Ryan lived a great life, and I offer my condolences! Ryan please rest in peace.

TO Mrs. Alma Malone & Mack Freeman, Jr.

I was greatly saddened to hear about the passing of your grandson and son.
Yes, your hearts may be heavy but remember God is still in control. Yes, you maybe crying and don't understand why he left this world so early in his life but it's okay to cry, it may take days, weeks, months and maybe years but God will wrap His loving arms around you.
The bible states, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." I didn't know Ryan but I know the both of you so I know he was a good guy. As I read the condolences from family and friends my heart began to get heavy and my eyes filled with tears.
I will leave this encouraging word for you: When I was at my lowest and saddest times I only saw one set of footprints but remember that is when he was carrying you and he will bring you through this.
God bless.

To the family and friends of Ryan Freeman:

RYAN FREEMAN
someone who was so sweet-
he had a love for food, and jordans on his feet-
truly a king, a giant full of love-
now he has left us and is watching from above-
there are good memories, along with some tears-
we must be strong, through the clouds he peers-
wish him the best though without him it is odd-
as the angels lift him,up to God.
-gee-

Ryan and I were like brothers. He loved having me with him and I loved being around him. When I was little I would visit his house and stay on weekends. I remember switching off between Ryan and Erica. We would play video games, eat, then go play basketball, or go to the mall and he would buy me something and come back home and fall out on the couch. Then wake up the next day and do it all again. I love you Ryan, and you will be missed.

I don't even know where to start. My deepest condolences to the Freeman family. Ryan was a great friend and was like a brother during the time I was lucky enough to know him. I will always remember the late night trips to the gym or waffle house, depending on what kind of mood we were in. I will remember playing cards or video games all night, and going golfing and having the club head fly further than the ball. Most of all, I will remember the day I won a bet and he could no longer call himself "The Great One" or any other one of his names. Ryan Freeman, you are the Great One, and you will be missed.

I worked with Ryan and Michael at Proactiv Solutions for a couple of months.. Ry was my manager! AMAZING manager, was a friend first and foremost however when i needed that "manager" he flipped his switch right away. I still owed Ryan 25 dollars... and that eats me up in side. I never knew any of his friends but after working with me from the start the kiosk opened that day he made friends with everyone in the mall! He will be GREATLY missed. And his phone number entry will never be erased. LOVE YOU RY! Watch out for me up there! (I need it)

Ryan always looked out for me. He always stuck up for me and looked out for me. Even though he was younger than me I always thought of him as a big brother.
