Jack Anderson Michael

MICHAEL, Jack Anderson, 78, of Midlothian, died November 5, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Nora Michael; and a brother, Elmer Michael. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Martha Blalock Michael; three children, Alan Michael and his wife, Jan, Amy Turner, and Paul Michael and his wife, Stephanie; seven grandchildren, Sarah Leadbetter, David and Beth Michael, and Janie, Forrest, Mason, and Madelyn Turner; sister-in-law, Carol Michael; and niece, Jay Parrish. Mr. Michael was a veteran of the U.S. military with service in the Korean Conflict. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed. His remains rest at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Salisbury Presbyterian Church. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Baskerville, Va.
