BALL, Jacqueline A. "Jackie", 61, of Ashland, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde B. and Ruby Nuckols Payne, and a brother, Clyde Wilson Payne. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Spencer Ball; two daughters, Angela Hynson and her husband, Kyle, and Travis Ann Ball; three grandchildren, Danielle Ann (15) and Kyle Levin Hynson (13), and Aiden Spencer Ball (4); and several lifelong friends. Jackie was a member of Independence Christian Church. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 14, 2008, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Nelsen Funeral Home's Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Highway, Ashland. Funeral services will he held on Saturday, November 15, at 11 a.m. in Independence Christian Church, Ashland, followed by burial in the church cemetery.

Dear Angie,

I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing this week. She was so young and I know you and Kyle, Danielle and Levin will miss her terribly. Thank God for the blessing of having your mom and the kids' grandma so close by to her family for all of her years. I remember seeing her once, picking up Levin at Gandy, and I was struck by her beautiful, sparkling eyes, the same as yours. You could see her spirit in her eyes. They really shined. Your mom will remain near to all of you, always there to listen and watch over her family from heaven when you need her. May God bring you peace, love and comfort at this difficult time. You are all in our prayers.

Ball Family,

I am one of the ER nurses that took care of Mrs. Ball this weekend at MRMC.

I am so sorry for your loss.

The few hours I got to know Mrs. Ball, her strength and her inner power shinned loud and clear! She spent that time with us only concerned about her family.

Know you, her family is ALL she was concerned with in her time of illness. All I can say is I am so sorry for your loss!

Over the years one losses touch it is still sad for her leaving but she has gone home. She is now with those who went before her. She is with her Father in Heaven.
