Debbie and family,

We knew each other thru business, but Dave was my friend. A compassionate and genuine man. Of the highest intellect, but more importantly of great insight and perpective. I will miss him greatly. God provides us few people in our short lives that we grow from, and Dave was one for me.

I hope and pray that peace has come to you.

I hope you smile, as I do, when I think of him.

God bless

My husband worked for David about 30 years ago at Ward and Stancil...He thought the world of David and spoke often of what an example he set for others...My husband went to Heaven 6/30/03 and I know he was one of those who were there to greet David as he stepped into eternity...It has been my privilege to cut David's hair for the last several years...He was a very kind and nice man with a gentle spirit and easy smile...I will miss seeing him...May God comfort all of his family as only He can....Psalm 23

I celebrate the example of a life well lived, and strive to conduct in some small measure, the straightforward honesty, wisdom and example that is his and his alone. I am better off having orbited his sphere of influence and pray that the vacuum of his absence can somehow be offset by the franchisement of his Spirit sewn in so many others that most assuredly will reap benefit to us all for years yet to come. May God in his infinite wisdom, assuage the greif felt by those who knew David best, with the comfort that His way is the Truth and the Light.

Dear Debbie & Family
There are no words that will make your sorrow easier to bear but knowing so many others share your grief at the loss of David hopefully will help. Being a member of his work family for so many years, it is hard to imagine him not being in the office, sitting at his desk, doing what he loved doing, working. He wasn't just my boss he was a friend and I will miss his sense of humor and just his easy going way of making everything come together in the office. Please know that you are in my thoughts & prayers.
