JOHNSON, Mrs. Roberta F., of Richmond, departed this life November 28, 2008. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert E. Johnson Sr. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Meadows and Brenda Stevenson; two sons, Wilbert E. Johnson Jr. and Russell Robinson Jr.; 13 grandchildren, among them a devoted, Tamika Johnson; 22 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law, Regina Johnson and Letha Robinson; two sons-in-law, William Meadows and James Stevenson; six sisters-in-law, Gloria J. Johnson, Helen Smith, Elizabeth Johnson, Lillie Jenkins, Yvonne Jones and Marie Gibson; five brothers-in-law, Charles, Linwood, Bernard, Willie and Jerome Johnson; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, and where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. Rev. Brian Allen officiating. Interment Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45 a.m. Wednesday. Online condolences can be made at www.jenkinsjr.com.

God has called a wonderful, caring, and loving person to him.. My grandma will be dearly and truly missed! My everything has been taken away from me so I have to try and maintain with that. She isn't completely gone to me, she's still in my heart. I know that we will meet again, soon. I know your happy now grandma up there with grandma and granny now.. I'm happy to say that you no longer have to suffer on this earth anymore. Thank you for everything you have done for me and everyone else. Grandma, you will truly be missed. I love you so much but I know you're in a better place. I will never forget how you loved everybody regardless of their situations. You are truly an angel and now you are finally reunited with your husband.I will get to see you again someday but until then you will always remain in my heart. Rest In Peace.
