Grace Kraas Obituary

KRAAS, Grace W., of Charlottesville, Va., passed away on Monday, November 24, 2008, in a hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. Born on February 19, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Randolph Owen and Annie Weatherford Wright. Mrs. Kraas was a retired nurse and served in Europe with the Army during World War II. She is survived by her son, Robert A. Kraas and his wife, Irene; and by her granddaughter, Ashley Kraas. A graveside funeral service with be conducted on Friday, December 5, 2008 in the Ashcamp Memorial Cemetery, Keysville, Va., at 11 a.m. Hill and Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

I met Grace and her husband on
one of my trips to Charlottesville.
She and I exchanged family info
while doing genealogy. We have
Wright ancestors. She was a lovely
lady.
