I am so sorry to hear the sad news. I was late finding out about Joe's passing. He was a phenomial person, and was loved by all who knew him. I was able to meet Joe, because of my friendship with his granddaughter and biggest fan Roni. My heart, prayers and thoughts are with you right now Roni and Family.

I have many fond memories of Joe over the years... from being the "Candy Man" at church, to the fishing trips with my dad. I'm sure he's busy handing out candy in heaven now and fishing with his buddies, no longer saddled with the limitations of this world. Our prayers are with you and your family.

I read this today and thought back to when I was very young and many times when Joe would go fishing on the York river or hunting and share his catch with our family. May God bless your family as Joe was a blesssing to us.
