MASSEY, Robert "Bobby" Joseph, of Enon, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2008. He was born in Glen Morris, West Virginia, the son of Mary Gladys Frazier Massey and the late Robert Massey. Mr. Massey retired in 1998 after 42 years of employment with Stone Container, now known as Smurfit-Stone. He was a member, Sunday school teacher, choir director and member of the men's church council at Enon Church of God. Mr. Massey was married for 49 years to his loving wife, Trilla Turner Massey. He is also survived by his children, Sherry Michalek and husband, Chris, Mark Massey and Jamie Shepard and husband, Warren; grandchildren, Emily, Meghan and Caleb Michalek, Chad and Hailey Massey, and Dylan and Dustyn Shepard; sister, Belinda Lane and husband, Ted; nieces, Kari and Jeanette Lane; and nephew, Tony Lane. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, on Friday, December 5, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will take place at Enon Church of God on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 10 a.m., with an interment following in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Enon Church of God, 900 Enon Church Road, Chester, Virginia 23836. Condolences to the family may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

Bobby has been on my prayer list since Carroll Stewart first made me aware of his condition quite some time ago.
