REESE, Juanita H., of Brodnax, died December 5, 2008. Predeceased by two sisters, Perley Perkins and Naomi Hylton; and two brothers, Paul and Willie Higdon. Survived by three daughters, Joyce Wright of South Hill, Carolyn Pendergrass of Brodnax and Sandra Baisey of LaCrosse; a son, Allen P. Reese Jr. of Brodnax; a sister, Ruth Fears of Lunenburg Court House; a brother, Dwite Higdon of Richmond; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Monday at Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Providence United Methodist Church, 28205 Highway 58, South Hill, Va. 23970. Condolences to www.crowderhitecrews.com.

My condolences to the Reese family. I am writing because my father's family comes from Brodnax, VA and your family may be part of mine. His name was Lowell Dawson Reese. His mother was Laura Reese. The Dawson side of his family also comes from Brodnax. May god be with you all during this time and heal your loss.
