Geraldine Vernon Taylor

TAYLOR, Geraldine Vernon, 83, of Richmond, passed away December 9, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Austin David Taylor. She is survived by three children, Lee Taylor, Lyndell T. Atkins and David Calvin Taylor and wife, Cathy; three grandchildren, Thomas E. Atkins, Sara C. Taylor and Caroline B. Taylor. She retired from the Federal Reserve Bank after 26 years of service and was a longtime member of Westhampton Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 11, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Rd., and where services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. Interment Signal Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Westhampton Baptist Church, 6112 Three Chopt Rd., Richmond, Va. 23226.
