KAPLAN, Shirley Tenenberg, 88, of Richmond, formerly of Boca Raton, Fla., passed away Friday, December 12, 2008. She was the widow of Herman H. Kaplan. She is survived by her son, Irwin D. Kaplan and his wife, Pat, and their children, Tama, Keith, Wendy, Devon and Christopher; son, Jay R. Kaplan and his wife, Kathy, and their children, Jordan, Susan and Jessie; her daughter, Laurie K. Biskin and her husband, Ron, and their sons, Justin and Trace; and 10 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Kaplan was an avid golfer and tennis player and had two hole in ones in her life. She was the former proud Secretary-General of the Boca Lago Country Club. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Sunday in the chapel in Beth El Cemetery at Forest Lawn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
