WHITE, Paul Sr., closed his eyes and slipped away on December 11, 2008, to be with our Father in Heaven. He was born August 8, 1933 to the late Esther and James White in New Bern, N.C. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, two sons, sister and nephew. He leaves to mourn, his sons, Randy White (Katherine), Danny Finner (Regina); stepdaughter, Pamela Wilkerson (Warren); three granddaughters, three grandsons, one great-grandson; one sister, Emma Nelson (Johnnie); four nephews, devoted Deno Martin; one niece, one uncle; a host of cousins, among them, devoted Thornton King and Pearline Finch; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street, where a funeral service will be held Monday, December 15 at 12 p.m. Rev. Keith Edmonds officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.

It's so hard to say goodbye . . . Just knowing you're in a better place NOW it gives the family NO worries, NO heartache, NO pain. Everyone loved you Paul and living an eternal life is better than having rubies, silver, or gold. So good-bye is not always good-bye and we shall see you again.

Mrs. Emma & Deno my heart goes out to you and your family. You know if there should ever be a need I'll be there.
