Linda, Sorry I'm just learning of your families loss and the loss of one of the finest men I have every met. Having known Charlie for over 30 years as a friend, angler and attorney, you and I both know this is someone that can never be replaced.

To Linda and the family,
I just learned of your loss less than an hour ago and I am terribly sorry. Mr. Beddow was as fine a man as I have ever known and the quintessential southern gentleman. He extended a helping hand and kindness to many over the years. He will be greatly missed.
With deepest sympathy,

To Charlie's family: I knew Charlie as the southern gentleman lawyer --always polite, very well-prepared, and a daunting opponent in the courtroom. He had a brilliant legal mind and always reminded me of Atticus Finch. He loved the law and being a lawyer. He once told me that he loved going to work each day and when he no longer did, he would retire. He was a credit to our profession and a legend in Chesterfield. I was very sorry to hear of his death.

My heart goes out to the family and my husband and I send our deepest sympathy. I knew Charlie thru my daughter Debbie when she worked at his law firm. I remember him to be such a good man and always friendly. God's blessing on this sad time and my God give you all peace.

To Charlie's family,
My deepest sympathy goes out to each of you. Charlie and I had one thing in common and that is the love for fishing. Whether it was actually in the boat fishing, organizing a tournament or just talking about fishing, Charlie made a lasting impression on the sport and those of us who love it.
I am sure he has already found where the fish in heaven hide and has already made his first cast.
May the wonderful memories you have comfort you always.

Dear Linda,
I am very sad to hear of my good friend's passing. Charlie was a credit to his profession, and an excellent fisherman. He was always a standup guy, and I think that's what I respected about him most.
I thank the Lord for people like him, and I was truly blessed to be able to call him friend.
God bless you and your family. I will pray for your recovery.
