Elizabeth "Betty" Engelhardt

ENGELHARDT, Elizabeth "Betty", 87, of Chester, went to be with the Lord on Friday December 12, 2008. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. Engelhardt. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tina and David Hopp; son, Jim L. Engelhardt; grandchildren, Ashley Hopp and Melissa Venable and her husband, Jesse; and great- grandchildren, MeKayla and Austin; best friends, Peg and James. Betty was a member at Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church in Colonial Heights. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday night at the Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rt. 10) with a funeral service to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. A private family interment will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Crater Community Hospice, 840 W. Roslyn Road, Suite E, Colonial Heights, Va. 23834 or ACCA Temple Shrine Transportation, P.O. Box 9217, Richmond, Va. 23227.
