BOLDEN, Mary Bracco, 89, passed away in her sleep on Sunday, January 18, 2009, and is now in peaceful eternal rest. She is survived by her twin sons, Kenneth Bolden of New Orleans, La., and Dennis (Cheri) Bolden; her grandchildren, Valerie (James) Campbell and Dennis Bolden; her great-grandchildren, Megan, Zachary, Matthew and Jennifer Campbell, all from Richmond; and her brother, Joseph (Miriam) Bracco of Springfield, Va. Mary was employed by the federal government for 32 years, the majority of which were with the IRS, and afterwards by SunTrust Bank for six years. She was a devout member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, and a loyal volunteer who willingly supported all church activities. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bliley's-Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Road, where a prayer service will begin at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 8200 Woodman Rd. Interment Hollywood Cemetery.

Mary
will be missed. I recall she always had a complement for me when we met
at church. Like "your hair looks so nice" & etc.she was a sweet lady.
I bet she is giving out complements to God.

She was truly a sweet lady and though its over 10 years I will always remember her cinnamon bisquits and especially her choclate cherry cake, (which my daughter still talks about), she would make and bring to the shop where we repaired her auto for several years. I am both saddened and sorry for your loss. I know she will be missed by many.

So sorry to read of Mrs. Bolden's passing. I just sat and talked with her last Sun. when I went to visit my aunt at Alpha House. She was a such a sweet lady. My condolence goes out to your family.
