Marcy E. Fogel

FOGEL, Marcy E. "Billie," of Charleston, S.C., entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of December 1, 2008. She was the widow of Col. Milton I. Fogel, U.S. Army Retired. Mrs. Fogel was born October 13, 1922 in Seat Pleasant, Md., a daughter of the late Charles E. Daniel and Marcy Grymes Daniel. She was a Founding Member of the Tri-City Republican Women's Club in Petersburg, Virginia, where she also served many years as the Secretary of the Election Board and on the Youth Commission. Along with her husband, Mrs. Fogel was a former member of the Lions Club and was very active in the Republican Party. Surviving are a son, Robert D. Fogel and his wife, Lilian, of Charleston, S.C.; two daughters, Carol M. Fogel of Lansing, Mich., and Pamela S. Fogel of Northridge, Calif.; a sister, Lucille Marshall of Carbondale, Illinois; two grandchildren, Eric Sean Fogel of New York, N.Y., and Daniel A. Fogel and his wife, Megan, of Atlanta, Ga. A memorial service will be held Saturday afternoon, January 24, 2009, 2 p.m. at Christ and Grace Episcopal Church, 1545 South Sycamore Street, Petersburg, Va. Inurnment to follow in Arlington National Cemetery at 11 a.m. Monday morning, January 26, 2009.
