Dear Family, I was stunned to hear of Gus unexpected passing. I am so sorry for your loss. Gus was a dear friend and helped me through some very hard times with my illness, I will miss his spirituality and friendship dearly and treasure the times we shared. with a heavy heart his friend.

Dear Connie and John,
I was stunned to hear of Gus' passing. It has been many years since we have spoken but I have often thought of him, as we spent a few "formative" years together.
Other than remembering him as being terribly attractive, I will always remember Gus' ability to focus. When he wanted to learn something he poured himself into it. Whether it be learning to fly and obtaining a pilot's license in an amazingly short time or deciding to turn the hobby of photography into a profession.
John, you and he were such carefree bachelors. To this day, I use your phrase "credit the experience and debit the account" all the time.
I can only hope that Gus found fulfillment, love and happiness in his life.
Connie and John, I so hope you find strength and comfort in remembering the good times and influences he had on you and your families.
With fondness,
Susan Leick

I miss you, Uncle Gus.
I pray for your soul & know God has taken you home. May you finally find the peace that you never found here. I wish we had been in each others lives more & know that I have so many, many great memories of our time together when we were younger.Look down on me once in awhile, OK!? Maybe you could give me some type of sign, to let me know you're happy & that I'm doing the right thing.
I love you, Uncle Gus!
