Dear Dianna-
Sorry I was not able to travel to VA with Scott and our kids, Michelle, Sarah & Nick for the funeral. I want you know that you've been in my prayers. We enjoyed the time we spent visiting you and Dad a few summers ago and had hoped to do so again. He will be greatly missed. Over the years I have met several people (masons), who on hearing my last name, have ask if I am related to Elliot and you. When I say yes, they then proceed to tell me many wonderful things about you both. May God's comforting grace help you through this difficult time. With Love and Peace in Christ, Vicky

What a wonderful pair. Mr. Gillard will be deeply missed. I see his smiley face everytime I pull up in the driveway. He was the father I never had. Always there to make me smile, lend a helping hand and give advice. So Mrs Gillard (my other Mom) its all on you..~smile~ I am here for you and Mr. John..Love You

Dear Dianna,
I'm sorry that I never really had a chance to meet and get to know Elliot. I know from our long discussions when we roomed together at the Orlando convention that you meant a lot to each other. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as you deal with the sudden loss of your best friend.
My deepest sympathy,
Jean Kent

Dianna, it was so obvious by the way you and Elliot looked at each other how close you were and what you meant to each other. May God see you through each day and give you peace as you heal. Elliot was a wonderful person (as are you), and he will be greatly missed.

Elliot helped me through many a tough time. He was always willing to take time to listen to me as well as give me advice without holding back any punches. He always encouraged me to keep moving forward and never give up. He opened his home to me as if I were family and treated me like one of his own. I will always love and repect him for all that he gave to me. He will be sorely missed by many.
