To Margaret's Family: My family and I are very saddened to hear of this great loss. We will miss Margaret deeply and she will never be forgotten. We are very thankful and blessed to have had her in our lives because she has helped my family out since we came to America(coming from Cambodia). I personally can't say I know her real well, but I know she has been very helpful to my family and looking out for me when i was a little baby. For that I am very grateful again for her being one of the people who has helped my family live in this great country and for being a great neighbor to my sister Soeurth Riel and her family. Below is a poem I did in dedication of her and in a way to pay my respects to her and her family. May God bless her and take care of her!
"Word's Can't Explain" (Dedication to Margaret Gress)
By: Racin Sam
Words can't explain the things you've done for us/
A wingless angel who is someone we can trust/
You helped us become educated and kept our minds clean/
You were dedicated to help us live the American Dream/
Helped us to find jobs, checked up on our work at school/
You gave us the power of love, with your heart as the tool/
A great neighbor, A great soul, you're the perfect friend/
Wish we could've said goodbye before your end/
You gave us all something, we didn't have to earn/
Love, care, friendship, and guidance, you were always concerned/
Forever in our hearts, because we were in a part of yours/
Thanks for helping us with our freedom and opening the doors/
Thanks for helping through our hardships and through our pains/
We love you, we want to hug you, your love is something Words Can't Explain/

To the family: My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Margaret's family. She is with God now. He will keep her warm and safe.
Cheryl: I am so sorry to hear of Margaret's passing. I had no idea her time was so close. Ray can't even talk about her without crying. We will remember the occassional times we saw her out on the dance floor at the Legion. She always seemed to be having a good time. Margaret is at peace now with no more pain and suffering from the cancer that finally did her in. If there is anything Ray and I can do please do not hesitate to give us a call. God be with you and Margaret's family during this trying time..........

Peggy, Cheryl and Family,
You all have my deepest sympathy at this time of great loss.
In my mind, Margaret is always smiling and laughing that fantastic laugh, eyes sparkling. I loved her so much and our stories have been told and retold all through the years.
Margaret, my darling friend. I hope you know how the life lessons you taught me served me so well. How much I appreciated your guidance and advice when I needed it most in those turbulent 80's. Sorry about the dog story but I bet you told that story as much as I did. If you see your namesake, tell her I said hello and that I keep a picture of her on my dresser. I keep a picture of you in my heart and always will. God speed my friend.
