Valla Miriam "Mimi" Morgan

MORGAN, Valla Miriam "Mimi," 72, formerly of Richmond, went home to be with the Lord on January 25, 2009. Survivors include three children, Chris Morgan and his wife, Jennifer, of Powhatan, Pamela Marrs and her husband, Bill, of Crozet, Va., and Valerie Sthreshley and her husband, John, of Bradenton, Fla.; nine grandchildren; one brother, Don M. Breeden and his wife, Tara, of Stuart, Fla.; and three nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley W. Morgan Jr.; and a son, Wiley W. Morgan III. Mimi devoted her life to care for her husband, children, and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. Her remains rest at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, and where a celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Washington Memorial Park.
