I will miss Charles. He always had a pleasant smile when he greeted me. He never failed to ask about the whole family, moma when she was living, my siblings and my children. He was very caring. Thelma, I am so sorry that Charles has left us. He was a terrific human being. He was the only guy I knew who actually landed on the beach during D-Day. He was a hero then and afterwards became the everyday hero all of us knew for so many years. I have nothing but admiration for Charles and I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss him.
