Thelma & Muriel,
I will miss Charles. He always had a pleasant smile when he greeted me. He never failed to ask about the whole family, moma when she was living, my siblings and my children. He was very caring. I will cherish those memories and his smile. Keep the Faith and look to Him who gives us what we need when we need it. God's blessing upon you now and always. Love you both.

Thelma, I am so sorry that Charles has left us. He was a terrific human being. He was the only guy I knew who actually landed on the beach during D-Day. He was a hero then and afterwards became the everyday hero all of us knew for so many years. I have nothing but admiration for Charles and I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss him.
