Doreen M. Goins

GOINS, Doreen M., of Smith Crossroads, beloved mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 3, 2009. She is survived by a daughter, Carleen Wells and husband, Rosser, of South Hill; three sons, Michael A. Goins and C. L. "Tex" Goins, both of Norfolk, and Mark L. Goins of Delray Beach, Fla.; a sister, Leola Hazen and husband, Al, also of Delray Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren, January, Michael, David, Stacey, Heather and Collin; a great-granddaughter, Jaedis; several nieces and nephews; and her devoted pet companion, "Buddy". Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment in Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
