Sylvia, Delores, & Other Family Members: Please know that many prayers and thoughts are with you. My having known the family for over 35 years, I meet you in the early 1970's @ VSU and will continue to cherish being a friend of the family & a "pillar-of-strength" to you all--especially during these times of sorrow.

To Sylvia Statton and Family
Please know our prayers are with you during the homegoing of your father. The Lord will see you through these difficult times and He will ease your pain. May the good Lord give you strength to go through the valley as we know He will. God Bless You and your family.
Love,
Raymond Redd & Family (Ileita & Diamond)

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious. Your father will be missed very much.He was my buddy.thank you Sylvia keeping me posed on him when he was sick.He was like a father to me also He always will say Yvette are you okay he was a true friend to me.My prayers are with you on those days and nites when you are alone. But you have my numbers call anytime GOD BLESS YOU
