William Spicer Obituary

SPICER, William Alton "Archie," 85, of Richmond, died Wednesday, February 4, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Doris Crew Spicer; and is survived by his daughter, Pamela S. Anderson and her husband, Leonard; grandsons, Christopher Ryan and Tyler Spicer; and granddaughter, Cabell Elaine. Archie was a veteran of WWII and worked for 40-plus years in tobacco distribution. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Rd., and where funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
