BAILEY, Mrs. Margaret Steele, 75, of Farmville, passed away Tuesday evening, February 3, 2009 in Farmville. She was born March 23, 1933 in Coylton, Scotland. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Carina Berritti Steele. She was the wife of Joseph M. Bailey. She is survived by her husband; her children, Joseph C. Bailey and wife, Jazmin, of Farmville, Virginia, Karen B. Dennis and husband, Michael, of Concord, New Hampshire, Eileen B. Broughman and husband, Steve, of Chester, Virginia, Dale M. Bailey and wife, Cyndy, of Charleston, South Carolina, and Beverley A. Bailey of Northfield, New Hampshire; her brothers, Claudio Steele and Robert Steele, both of Scotland; her sisters, Betty McMillan, Rena Spagnola, Jeanette Bertoncini and Ellen Graham, all of Scotland; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mable Houlett; and her brothers, Charles and John Steele. A funeral service will be held Friday, February 6, 2009 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home, with interment in the Virginia Veteran's Cemetery in Amelia. Family will receive friends Friday, 12 noon to 1 p.m., just before the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to The Woodland Inc. in Farmville. Puckett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Eileen,
My prayers will remain with you and your family in these difficult days. If there is anything I can do to comfort you please let me know. I know the pain you're feeling right now and I can tell you that when we continue to pray to the Lord for strenght ... he will comfort us!

Margaret, I'm very sad that you and I didn’t have more time! You and Your husband have touched my life in ways you will never know! Thank you for being a part of my life. You are the only Nana that Jozi has ever known and she misses you terribly! " I LOVE YOU NANA" We love you so much and you were and will always be part of our life and you will never be forgotten!
