HARRIS, Walter Eugene, 83, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 5, 2009. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rebecca T. Harris; and son, Jerry L. Harris. Surviving are his daughters, Annie Poindexter and Mary Najdyszak; sons, Barry W. Harris, John Ray Harris, George T. Najdyszak Jr., Michael A. Najdyszak, T. Brad Najdyszak; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. Harris was a U.S. Army and Navy WWII veteran and a Reynolds Metals (Extrusion Plant) retiree.The family will receive friends 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday at Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte. 10). His funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Monday at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Dale Memorial Park.
