WRIGHT, Mildred Grainger, 78, of Glen Allen, went to be with the Lord, Friday, February 6, 2009. She was a dedicated employee of the International Mission Board for 20 plus years and was a lifetime member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Mildred is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 53 years, Fred; four children, Foster Wright (Leslie), Gary Wright (Janet), Jeff Wright (Madeline) and Sharon Eliasek (Jim); seven grandchildren, Lauren, Matthew, Christy, Rachel, Megan, Becky and Stephen. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 8 at Bliley's-Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, February 9 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Interment Mt. Vernon Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Building Fund, 11220 Nuckols Rd. Glen Allen, Va. 23059.

To the Wright Family; I am so sorry to hear about the death of Mildred. I worked with Mildred from 1974 until she retired from the IMB. She was a great person and I enjoyed knowing her.
