William Krenson Obituary

KRENSON, William Daniel Sr., 65, of Enon, a retired U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran (SFC) and retired civil servant from USACASCOM, Fort Lee, passed away on February 4, 2009. Mr. Krenson was preceded in death by his father, Earl Rodney Krenson Sr.; his mother, Evelyn L. Basemore Krenson; his brother, Earl Rodney Krenson Jr.; and his nephew, Thomas Hawkins Jr. He is survived by his son, William Daniel Krenson Jr., of Enon; and his daughter, Jessi Lee Krenson Smith of Hopewell. He is also survived by his sister, Effie Hawkins and her husband, Thomas of Gainesville, Fla.; five nieces, Victoria H. Yiength, Cathleen H. Tison, Deborah H. Prevatt, Joney K. Kelly, Sharon L. Krenson; and two nephews, Earl Rodney Krenson III and Lance C. Krenson; a favorite cousin, George Krenson and his wife, Nancy. In addition, he is survived by a sister-in-law, Illean Bullock and her husband, Butch, their three children and two grandchildren. He also leaves behind his friend and husband-in-law, Wesley C. Smith Jr. and his wife, Iris of Hopewell. A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 6 p.m. in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with visitation to follow. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to your favorite charity. Interment in his family cemetery will be at a later date in Savannah, Ga.
