William West Obituary

WEST, William R., "Dick," 63, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 5, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Eloise; sons, Jon "J.D." West and significant other, Shannon O'Dell, and Richard "Randy" West and his wife, Tasha; grandchildren, Zachary West and Cameron West. Mr. West served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He recently worked as an auto collision estimator at Haley Ford. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2009 at Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte. 10). Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the American Heart Association.

I am sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I knew him from the various shops where he had worked. He will be missed by all that knew him.

It was great getting to know Dick the last few weeks. I was looking forward to working with him. Everyone at Brown's Body Works will miss him. My sympathy to his wonderful family that I had heard so much about.
