CHATHAM, RONALD DUANE, 57, of Williamsburg, Va., formerly of Richmond, Va., passed away February 14, 2009. He was preceded in death by his mother, Iona M. Chatham. He is survived by his father, Herbert L. Chatham; brother, Gary L. Chatham and his wife, Joyce; nephew and niece, Matthew and Michelle Chatham; sister, Linda Chatham, all of Richmond, Va.; and his chocolate lab, Buddy. Ron served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Vietnam War. He was retired from Anheuser Busch in Williamsburg after 24 years of service. He was a member of the IBT Union, Local 95. Ron was a mason at St. John Masonic Lodge No. 36, a member of Richmond Magic Club and the International Chess Federation. Blues music and art were his passions. A celebration of his life will be held in Williamsburg on Thursday, February 26, at the Teamsters Union Local 95 Hall, 7294 Merrimac Trail, Williamsburg, Va., from 3 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice House of Williamsburg, 4445 Powhatan Parkway, Williamsburg, Virginia 23188.

I am very sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I hope and pray that his family will find peace and strength during this time of mourning.

I worked with Ron for many years at Anheuser Busch and enjoyed working with him and talking to him on and off the job. His intregity and work ethics were very good along with his techncal skills. He will missed by many.
