To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Miss Rosemary...My heart goes out to you. I cannot believe it. Our families have always been very close. Randy was my main buddy during childhood. We used to watch "Wrassling" at 3pm on Saturdays and then go outside to try wrestling moves on David Greene and "Bogaloo". I remember how we used to walk up Venable Street to attend Cub Scout meetings.
I hope that during your time of grief, God will comfort you.
Take Care.

Rosemary, I know that Randy's pass- ing was very quick and unexpecting but there is a very old hymn of the church that I will quote to you that says "WE SHALL BE CHANGED FROM MORTAL TO IMMORTALITY IN THE TWINKLING OF AN EYE'. You and Randy both are in God's hands and whatever happens he will take care of you and bring you through this and so much more. There is nothing that me or anyone else can say to you that gives you the healing power that you truly needs, only God can do that trust and believe in him and he will lighten your load.

Randy was a kind and caring man. He would do anything for anybody, all you had to do was ask. I'll miss seeing you over my sister Tina's house laughing and having fun. Randy was about enjoying life, thats why he had many friends. Never the one to get into trouble, but always the one to help when you were in trouble. I'll miss friend - Angela

i am really going to miss randy "lil c" crawford very much he was my heart and my everything. lil c and i were very close, and had known eachother for years but other things got in the way of us actually getting to be with each other arm in arm. we always planned to have a nice wedding and to have kids one day. i am going to miss every sunday when i call his mothers house to speak to him he answers while in the middle of a domino game with his family. words can't express how randy and i felt for each other. i will never be the same without him. no matter how much we argued we always amde up and said i love you in the end. he was a very happy and friendly man. i am going to miss his laugh and the silly conversations we would have on the phone. i am praying that his mother ms. rosemary stays strong. my family really loved lil c. he always asked if he could move to lynchburg with us and i had told him this month that if he really wantedto move with us he could. he has taught me alot over the past 2 years he made me see things that i was to blind to see, until he made me see reality. i really am going to miss him dearly but even if he is not here with me on this earth he will always be with me in my heart. i love you lil c and R.I.P
