WILLSON, Doris Lloyd, 82, of Richmond, widow of Alan Neil Willson, passed away on February 24, 2009. She is survived by a brother, Lester Lee Lloyd of Glenndale, Md.; a stepdaughter, Carolyn W. Roberts of Glen Allen; a stepson, Dr. Alan N. Willson Jr. of Pasadena, Calif.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was employed by Virginia Federal Savings and Loan for 42 years, serving as Corporate Secretary and Vice President. Mrs. Willson was active in many organizations and served as President of the local chapters of the American Savings and Loan Institute, the National Secretaries Association, and the Mended Hearts, Inc. She enjoyed all types of crafts, including decorating real eggs, and was a member of the SunShine Circle of Children's Hospital. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 26, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad Street, also where the funeral service will be conducted Friday, February 27, at 12:30 p.m. Interment to follow in Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Tuckahoe Rescue Squad or your favorite charity.

To Doris Willson's Family:

We have just learned of Doris' death. Doris meant so much to our family. She worked with our father (Jack Randolph) and our grandfather (John Randolph). Both of us are out of town, but our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
