Mom:
I cannot begin to tell you the huge void I feel in my life and my heart is so broken. I know how much you counted on me to keep you comfortable, safe and secure, but this one last time, holding your hands, which you said made the anxiety go away, and my heart were not strong enough to keep you here this time. I hope you know I did everything in my power to help you through it all. You are my loving Mother, my best friend, and now my Angel. I am waiting for a sign from you to tell me that you are happy, safe and free from all your sufferings. I am blessed to have you as my Mother. It is you whom I draw my strength from and will continue to do so for the rest of my life. I pray that your strength through me has pasted on to my children. It is your everlasting gift to us. Until we meet again, when I feel a warm breeze on my cheek, I know it will be a kiss from you. When I feel the warmth of the sunshine, I know it will be a hug from you. When I feel raindrops falling down, I know it will be your happy tears from heaven to remind me to smile and to let me know you are happy and watching from above. Yes, I am blessed to have you always. So much love for you Mom. I miss you tremdously,

Grandma, there are so many things I would like for you to know. I have faith that you are in a place that will allow you to know all these things without having said them outloud. You will forever live in my heart and my memories of you and with you are ones that I will cherish always. You were my chef, my scary movie friend, and my confidant when I needed one. I love you.

To all that have shown their friendship and caring i would like to say thank you for everything that was done for our family. Especially my mother who has remained a rock through all of this. Thank you.

Karen, I knew your mother and your father when we were children in northside Richmond. I also knew you when you were little. Your Aunt Gloria, Uncle Jerry, and your cousin Joan Smith are my friends. My name was Judy Knight, sister of Anne and Rufus. Your mom was always fun and sweet to me. We lost touch when I moved to Florida in the 60's. You and your family are in my prayers.

To the family of Norma Andrews,
We were very sorry to hear of your loss. My grandmothers each had over 20 grandchildren and, yet, they loved each and every one of us unconditionally and would have done anything for us. They always had a hug and smile for each of us. Kelly, I know that your grandmother was the same way. She must have been very proud of you and your accomplishments at such a young age. You followed your dreams and that's what every parent and grandparent hopes for their children. Take her advice and keep the memories you have of her in your heart. Maybe one day you can share them with your own children?.... We are happy to be part of your Platinum Cheer family and hope to see you soon.
