Jean Butler Milby

MILBY, Jean Butler, 82, of Richmond, passed away March 3, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ret. Major General Willard Phaup Milby Jr. and her sister, Phyllis Vaughan. She is survived by her son, Dr. Willard P. Milby III, his wife, Justine, and their children, Will, Meg, Allison, and Ashley; her daughter, Katherine M. White, her husband, Ray, and their children, Katie and Christopher. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Joseph B. Vaughan; nephew, Joey Vaughan and his family. The family would like to thank the nurses of the MSICU at Chippenham Medical Center for their loving care and support. Jean retired after 23 years as the OR Posting Coordinator at Chippenham Medical Center. She is a member of Bon Air Baptist Church, the Reserve Officers Association, and the Republican Women's Club. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 5, 2009, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd, Midlothian. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., on Friday, March 6, 2009, at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Pilots Lane, Richmond. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bon Air Baptist Church, 2531 Buford Road Richmond, Va. 23235-3419 or the Children's Hospital, 2924 Brook Rd., Richmond, Va. 23220-1298.
