I have known Uncle Marvin for about 30 years. Right from the start he welcomed me into the family. He always had a hug and a kiss for me. I never saw him angry and was told it took a lot to make him angry because he was a gentle man at heart. I saw that in him.
I love and miss him as I know all of his family does.
Rita
I could never thank Uncle Marvin enough for all he has done for me. He never refused to help me when I needed help with my cars or anything else. You couldn't have asked for a better uncle. I will miss him a great deal. Larry & Bruce you both know what a great man your Dad was and I know you both will miss him, but you know that he's in a better place now with your Mom.

Marvin was a good man and always had a big hug for us all! He and Celia and later Thelma were my parents neighbors (Joe & Naomi Brooking). They were always great friends. My father died before our son Joseph was born. Everytime we came to "the country" Joseph played on Marvin's fire trucks. Marvin was kind to give Joseph a few things that my father had given him. Joseph had planned on coming this weekend to see Marvin and was heartbroken to hear of his death. Thelma, you have brought much joy to Marvin in the last 10 years and you have taken such good care of him. We will be praying for you and the rest of Marvin's family. I bet he gave my mom & dad a big hug when he got to heaven!

I/we will miss uncle "Mervin" very much. He always had a smile on his face & was always ready to give you the biggest/tightest hug you've ever had in your whole life. Only good memories when we think of him. He was a good man & will be greatly missed by everyone in the family.
