I worked with Kenneth at Scott & Stringfellow. He was a kind & gentle man with such a sweet spirit. He could always cheer me up when I was having a bad day with just a sincere hello and his radiant smile.

Kenneth Goodman was a 1964 graduate of Armstrong High School and entered VUU in September, 1964 as a part of the dynamic and vivacious class of 1964-68. I believe he was a sociology major and lived all of his adult life in Richmond. He was a part of the our 40th Reunion Steering Committee. He was among the first Richmonders I met at VUU from Armstrong and he introduced me to a wide variety of people including Floretta Lewis, Lena Hicks, Audrey Stephens, John Thompson, Felicia Patterson, Rosalina Lindsey, Joyce Sydnor, Vivian Jackson, Gladys Williams, Lionel Ridley, Sally Gordon, Fannie Smith—who ended up marrying my roommate from CT, Willie Rucker, and so many more. He was one of the most reliable persons I knew and he helped me a lot during my freshman year just before I withdrew for medical reasons. I will always fondly remember him.
May his soul be at peace with our creator.
Sincerely,
Wistar M. Withers, Co-Chair
VUU '64-'68 Reunion Committee
