To The Fleming Family: My heart was very sadden to hear about the homegoing of Deacon Walton Fleming. He fought a good fight & kept the faith. He will surely be missed by the Ushers' Union. He was one of our faithful & Committed ushers. You could always depend on him to be there whenever we had to usher for a convention or at city wide revival. Always remember Love never Dies. He will always live on in the hearts of so many people. With Love N. J. Broadie, Ladies Ushers Union Of Richmond & Vicinity

To the Fleming Family:

I am sorry to learn of the loss of Walton. Please accept my condolences. I saw him most often while league bowling. He was a very friendly and competitive person. His physical presence will be missed by all, but he will be with us as long as we hold him in our memories.

To the Fleming Family,
No one truly comprehends the loss that you feel, the sadness that you must be going through.
And yet, warm thoughts are reaching out in hopes that you will know the strength and comfort that this wishes you.
With Deepest Sympathy

Beling a Fulton resident for over 25 years, The Fleming family was one of the pillars of the community. I first met Walton at the Fulton Center on Denny St., where I worked with Mrs. Brown and Miss Roberts. Walton was in the teenage group and later years when he was a driver with GRTC, I rode on his bus. But most of all I admired his faithfulness to his church Mt. Calvary, serving as Deacon and Usher. Even after he became sick he pressed on as long as he could. As a young man to me he inspired me and all who knew him. He left wonderful memories.

Dear Fleming Family,

I am truly sorry to hear of the death of Walter....he worked for my dad at Grubbs' Super Market many years ago. He was always so cheerful, kind, and considerate to my family as well as all the customers that he came into contact with there. He had an extremely infectious laugh which I will never forget! Please know that you all are in my prayers and pray that your memories of him will sustain you during this sad time.

Tina and Family,

Our deepest sympathy is expressed to you and the entire Fleming family. We pray that the Lord will be your constant strenght and may you find peace in the days ahead. "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help." Your brother and love one is resting in the arms of Jesus. No more pain or suffering. The Deacons Ministry has also suffered this lost and will miss our Dear Brother in Christ. We too shall meet him again in that great getting up morning. "Well done thy good and faithful servant".

God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, “Come to me”.
You didn’t deserve what you went through,
So He gave you rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best
And when I saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain
I could not wish you back
To suffer that again.

To The Fleming Family,
May God be with you all through this difficult time, Walton was like a big brother/uncle to me, he was like a son to my grandmother (Mrs. West). He will be greatly missed at the bowling alley.
Love always,
