JACKSON, Mr. Chauncey Belford, age 81, of Powhatan, Va., departed this life on Monday, August 31, 2009 in Powhatan. He is survived by two brothers, Howard Jackson (Rebecca) and Alexander Jackson (Mary); two sisters, Cardell Barnes and Audrey Bell; a sister-in-law, Mary Alice Jackson; brother-in-law, Cannon McFarley Sr.; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His remains rest at Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home of Cumberland, Va. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 4, 2009, 1 p.m., at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Powhatan. Rev. George West, interim pastor, officiating, with interment in the church cemetery.

I'd like to express my condolences to the Jackson Family, I will lift you up in prayer during this difficult time. Keep in mind scripture tells us to be absent from the body means to be home with the Lord. He home! May God Bless each and every one of you and heaven smile upon you.
