Robinette Jerilys Morton

MORTON, Robinette Jerilys, our hearts were deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved mother who made the transition from earth to heaven on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals. Born in Washington, D.C. on September 2, 1960, Robnette was preceded in death by her father, Robert Wiley Morton; her mothers, Geraldine Willis Morton and Eliza Freeman West; and loving companion, Andrew Harris. Robnette leaves to cherish her memory her two loving and devoted sons, Andrew Wiley and Jerel Leon "BB" Morton; one brother, DeWayne Freeman; two uncles, James Morton (Otelia) and Richard Freeman; one aunt, Diane Freeman Curry (Keith); one uncle, Richard Freeman; three nieces, three nephews; three brothers-in-law; one devoted, William "Jack" Harris; two dedicated best friends and special sisters, Mary Adkins and Deborah Roane; eight godsons; three goddaughters; a host of other relatives and special friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 1 p.m. at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 3200 East Broad Street, Richmond, Va. Rev. Toney McDonald, Eulogy.
