Richard sang in the choir at Stratford Hills United Methodist Church, and had an outstanding tenor voice. I remember the year that he suggested, planned, and organized a special Irish dinner and program for the choir and congregation of SHUMC. Everybody had such a great time! It was a privilege to sing with him in the church choir.
My sympathies are with you at this time of your loss.

To the Hotchkiss family:
My wife Betty and I considered Richard a very dear friend during the years when I was pastor of Stratford Hills United Methodist Church. Richard was active in our Hispanic ministry and also participated with us in a musical group. We remember him with love and gratitude, and extend our sympathy and pray God's blessings on all of you.

Dear family and Shirley ~ I had the great pleasure of meeting Richard and immediately saw his beautiful spirit. May grace and peace fill the empty space I imagine you are all feeling at this time.
