I have so many wonderful memories of Ruth Ellen. Borrowing her very stylish clothes when I had a date, her advice on how to wear my hair, boys, and getting our ears pierced together!!! I enjoyed the years that she lived next door in Tappahannock, married to my cousin. My whole family loved her and will miss her.

Ruth was such a special person...always kind and caring to everyone. I don't think I ever saw her in a mood and I enjoyed working with her at Media General. She truly cared about people and their lives. We all will miss her very much. My heartfelt sympathy to all.
